Online breathwork training and pranayama classes

Join us on weekdays every morning for a 30 minutes routine of regular breathwork training and pranayama classes to charge your day. A supplement program to our online meditation course and online pranayama short course to help you overcome issues of discipline, structure, and instructions while you master the routine. Our online breathwork training and pranayama regular practice program is an easy way to stay disciplined with your everyday yoga and wellness practice from the comfort of your home or wherever you happen to be.

Online Breathwork Practice Sessions Flow

The virtual program includes live and interactive practice sessions involving breathing techniques and Pranayama. In the early stage of the program, focus is on preparing the body for reaping the benefits of Pranayama through the Pre-pranayama practices (which is breathwork to be precise). The following steps provide a generic structure of the session. However, the breathwork teacher adjusts the sessions flow based on his observation and assessment of the students’ requirements. Not only that, the teacher makes necessary practice and technique adjustment for individual students depending on his/her respective health condition.

Warm-Up & Centering

Micro exercises

Gentle movements to release tension and prepare the body for pranayama.

Pre-pranayama Techniques

Practice of different breathing techniques such as Abdominal Breathing, Samavritti, Vishamavritti, & Yogic Breath, which involve moderated inhalations and exhalations to increase lung capacity and oxygenate the body. These pre-pranayama techniques are essential to prepare the body for Pranayama.

STEP 2

Main Pranayama Practices

Nadi Shodhan (Alternate Nostril Breathing)

Balances energy channels and calms the mind.

Participants breathe through right and left nostrils alternatively in a cyclical rhythm while focusing on breath.

Kapalbhanti (Skull Shining Breath)

Boosts energy levels, energizes the mind and body, and has detoxifying effects. This is achieved by rapid, forceful exhalation followed by passive inhalation.

Bhastrika (Bellows Breath)

Vigorous inhalation and exhalation increases oxygen supply, energizes the body, and clears the mind.

STEP 3

Cool Down and Relaxation

Ujjayi (Victorious Breath):

Increases oxygen intake and improves lung capacity.

Participants inhale deeply through the nose, slightly constricting the throat to create a soft hissing sound, then exhale slowly.

Shavasana (Corpse Pose):

Complete relaxation to integrate the benefits of the practice.

Participants lie down on the back, arms by the sides, palms facing up, and focus on the breath.

Reflection and Q&A

Participants reflect on their experience and ask any questions.

Closing Remarks

The instructor provides final thoughts and encourages participants to continue their practice.

Daily Pranayama Sessions Charges

US$125 per attendee per month

  • Group starts on the 1st weekday of every month

  • 5:00 AM Central European Time (CET) & Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

  • One time non-refundable fee payable in advance at the time of registration.

  • Per attendee fee includes sessions of 30 minutes on all weekdays of every month

  • This is an all-inclusive fee and there shall be no extra charges

  • Sessions will be conducted using Google Meet

His span of work experience includes designing Yoga programs & curricula, training future Yoga Teachers, delivering meditation retreats and breathing workshops in India as well as abroad.

Important considerations for a beautiful digital learning experience

  1. Do not eat for at-least 2 hours before the online breathwork and pranayama session.

  2. Select a peaceful place in your home, balcony, terrace, or park as is suitable for you.

  3. It is ideal if the place of your breathwork practice has natural air flow.

  4. Layout your Yoga mat or 'durrie' before the pranayama session begins.

  5. Keep a bolster, Yoga Block, or cushion handy if you have difficulty sitting cross-legged on the floor.

  6. Make sure you have sufficient place to lie down on your back without getting hit, tangled, or distracted by surrounding objects.

  7. Charge your phone sufficiently and connect with your headphone before the session begins for a interruption free practice.

  8. Wear comfortable clothes that allow free movement during online pranayama classes.

  9. Mute yourself once the session begins. Ask your questions towards the end when we prompt for questions. In case of urgent need, drop a message on the session chat.
